About Us
Behind the brand BareKiwi is husband and wife, Kyle Mulinder and Lisa Barton, who both have backgrounds in and a passion for the travel and tourism industry.
Working in tourism is what sparked the idea of BareKiwi in 2009. Kyle wanted to reduce the amount of disposable tourism literature being distributed, and help travellers discover the real New Zealand, by creating short videos about his experiences that he would share online. This innovative idea, combined with the prolific growth of social media, saw BareKiwi gain a large following of people seeking travel tips and inspiration.
